The band who are consist of Adam Levine, Jesse Carmichael, Mickey Madden and Matt Flynn, captured their first of three Grammy Awards as “Best New Artist” of 2005 and have gone on to sell more than 17 million albums worldwide. Maroon 5’s releases have gone gold and platinum in over 35 countries. One of their best hit single all over the world is “Move like Jagger” in Hands All Over the album that released in 2010. Other global hit singles include This Love, She Will Be Loved, Love Somebody, Makes Me Wonder, If I Never See your Face Again, Misery, and Daylight. MAROON 5’s fourth album Overexposed quickly reinforced the group’s status as a powerhouse in popular music with all of its singles rising to the top of the charts and setting an all-time record for the most #1s (six in total) by a group in the Top 40 chart’s 20-year history. In conjunction with the album, MAROON 5 wrapped one of the highest grossing tours of 2013 with over 50 million dollars in ticket sales.
Their latest album, V, features the Billboard Top 10 smash hits, Maps, Animals, and their latest single, Sugar. Maps, which Rolling Stone magazine declared, “a stomping, funk-soul-gospel breakdown,” quickly reinforced the group’s status as a powerhouse in popular music, setting a record for the highest debut by a group on Top 40 radio charts in 18 years. On the Hot 100 chart, the second single, Animal peaked at number 3, meanwhile both Sugar and Maps peaked number 1 on the US Top 40 chart. Dirty Loop, the special guest of THE MAROON 5 WORLD TOUR 2015 is Swedish Trio band who make their own brand of jazz, R&B, and electronic dance music-inflected pop. Formed in 2008 while attending the Royal College of Music in Stockholm, the group who are consist of Jonah Nilsson (vocals, keyboards) and Henrik Linder (bass guitar), along with Aaron Mellergardh (drums), rocked the world when their version of Lady Gaga's ‘Just Dance’ became an overnight viral sensation. They followed it up with creative covers of pop songs by Justin Bieber, Adele, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
Maroon 5 two previous concerts in Jakarta in 2011, 2012 were met with sold-out ticket sales showing just how popular the band is in Indonesia.
