Standard Chartered Bank officially launched this year’s edition of the Standard Chartered Half Marathon Indonesia (SCHMI) themed “Run for a Reason”. Approximately 3,500 runners – both national and international – are expected to compete in this year’s race rich will be held on 23 November 2014 at BSD Green Park, BSD City, Tangerang.
The category of our SCHMI 2014 will be: Fun Run for family, 5K, 10K, and 21K (half-marathon). Categories are capped at 750 runners for 21K category, 1,250 runners for 10K category, 1,250 runners for 5K category and 250 runners for fun run category. There will also dedicated pacers from running communities to lead in 21K, 10K, and 5K race category.
Proceed raised for the race will continue to further benefit the Bank’s Seeing is Believing initiative. The programme committed to help eliminate avoidable blindness and visual impairment. Every dollar raised is matched by Standard Chartered – doubling our impact on the ground.
